Euthanasia & AfterCare

Is euthanasia the right choice for your cat? Let ZenCat help you with all the facts.

When is it Time?

Literally meaning “the good death,” euthanasia is never an easy or simple decision. I will work with you to understand your cat’s disease process, assess kitty’s quality of life, how your bond with your cat is being affected, and provide as much information as possible to help with this difficult decision. Should you choose euthanasia for your beloved cat, I promise to honor you and your cat with the very best experience I can create for you; helping your kitty cross over is one of the most loving things you can do for your fur baby, and calls for a peaceful, reverent and loving atmosphere.

AfterCare

Don't wait until your time of need to consider what you want to do with your beloved cat after s/he has passed. Whenever your cat receives a poor prognosis, just taking a moment or two to consider cremation and burial options will leave you better prepared when the time comes. Your ZenCat veterinarian can offer individual and group cremation options, but there may also be a home burial option and there are pet cemeteries available in San Diego County.

Urgent ZenCat Feline Health Advisory

Please use the link below for more information on how to protect your cat from this fatal illness.
